There are a lot of companies that claim to provide security consulting along with many other services like installations services, camera installation, and even security guards. A lot of these companies are "security consulting" as a way to help them sell security products or guard services.

Virginia Security Concepts only does one thing - we provide independent physical security consulting services. We do not sell security equipment or software, we don't sell guard services, or conduct investigations. We only provide physical security surveying. 

We believe that for us to do anything else would be a disservice to our customer. We are expert in one thing, Physical Security, and informing the customer how to secure what is important to them. 

There are times that an end user will need one or more services that we do not provide. To be able to provide the end user with the best possible experience and to assist them with any other security issues that may need to be taken care, we maintain a very short and select list of other security providers and consultants who are subject matter experts in specific areas and we are more than happy to give them as referrals. 

In most cases Virginia Security Concepts strongly encourages a direct relationship between the end user and the other service providers. We typically do not act as a general contractor or middleman. We do not accept finder fees nor do we accept commissions from any outside provider. 

In the off chance that Virginia Security Concepts is brought into a project by another provider, we do not accept these opportunities by make it very clear from the start, that we always act in the best interest of the end user. We will never taylor our advice to favor the vendor who recommended us.
